Hunters-Gatherers

The Carrier people had great skill in the capturing of wild animals. They also used every single piece of the animal so that nothing was wasted. They ate mostly meat but to balance their diets they foraged through the woods and used berries and roots. Refrigerators were not invented back then so they had to devise a plan to keep their meat from spoiling.
